Overview

Enterprise HRIS is the team responsible for all HR Technology solutions for The Walt Disney Company. We partner with the business and our internal and external IT partners to define requirements, design, implement and sustain technology solutions.

This team interacts with all segments, lines of business and employees around the world. Our vision is to create the most comprehensive package of capability ever offered to the employees, leaders and executives of TWDC. Our comprehensive technology solutions are in alignment and support the new HR Operating model for the company driving business value for the Human Resource function.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, HRIS, the HRIS Intern will support and partner with the Senior Analysts supporting our Enterprise SAP system. This involves consulting with the HR community (enterprise wide), with our internal and external IT partners and external vendors, to clearly articulate the business needs in systems language to ensure effective, efficient and creative solutions in the ongoing maintenance and further development of the HR modules of SAP and other enterprise HR systems.

This position will have the opportunity to experience first-hand the intricacies and skills required to support HR technology for a large organization like Disney. Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Assist Sr. Analysts in capturing and documenting business requirements
  • Assist in test preparation and execution of system solutions
  • Perform analysis of data and processes within the existing system solution
  • Perform master data configuration in SAP, such as pay rate structures and table updates

Preferred Qualifications

  • Process Mapping experience
  • Experience in system configuration and testing
  • Experience with SAP a plus!
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Study in a related field

Required Education

Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program

Preferred Education

Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Management Information Systems or related field
