Overview

Disney Technology Solutions & Services (DTSS) is responsible for technology strategy and management, central engineering, architecture, IT and technical operations for TWDC. In addition to supporting the digital products of the company, DTSS also provides back-of-house services for the company, from the network layer on up. This includes providing a comprehensive set of technologies (Workforce Technology) to support the day-to-day productivity and collaboration of the workforce, not just to deliver products and experiences, but also to build a culture of sharing and innovation across business segments, time zones, and countries contributing to a more productive, engaged, and creative workforce.

As an internal Disney service provider DTSS is focused on three key priorities: 1) delivering employee centric business technology tools which empower cast and employee creativity and productivity; 2) delivering services to the TWDC-wide technology community which are market competitive and secure, enabling greater productivity and faster business segment results; and 3) actively collaborating with business leadership in exploiting technology to drive business results.

Within DTSS, Workforce Enablement (WE) provides multiple platforms and single-purpose products used to empower productivity, collaboration, and mobility. Additionally, WE provides products and services that empower authoring, publishing, and discovery of content and information. Applied products vary in nature from core-enterprise to segment-specific offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct interviews and product analysis to gather requirements and user stories via workshops, surveys, meetings, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods
  • Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize and analyze the collected requirements and user stories into product backlog and roadmap
  • Conducts market research and trend watch to support product managers and insight into a changing landscape of available enterprise tools and platforms
  • Knowledge management and curation of product portfolio, awareness collateral, and requirements artifacts
  • Define and capture KPIs and metrics on current product offerings

Basic Qualifications

  • Demonstrated keen judgment to make solid business decisions founded on market research
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills; attention to detail
  • Outstanding creativity and drive; excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good customer service and relationship skills
  • Team player, able to work well and efficiently with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in technical writing
  • Familiarity with enterprise applications and platforms (e.g. Office 365, ServiceNow, Slack, BlueJeans, Yammer, Jive, Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint)

Required Education

Bachelor’s Degree (completed or in-progress). Coursework and studies in Business Administration/Marketing, Product Management, Project Management, or Information Systems Management.
