Be a part of a transformative team and culture…
In this role, you will be working in one of four of the Disney Housing Service Center (DSC) office locations. You will be responsible for assisting the living and earning components of our College and International Program participants. You will be working with a team of specialists to schedule and perform apartment meetings, handle housing request & packages, role counseling, answering participants’ questions and addressing concerns regarding all aspects of the programs. The Service Center Specialist supports Community Codes as well as partner with the property management company, security, HR Services and Employee Relations. This role includes a high level of administrative responsibility such as computer entry, heavy phone volume and in person communication.

  • Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license and comfort in operating a 15 passenger company vehicle. Operating a company vehicle is required for this role. Candidate must be willing and able to operate a company vehicle under inclement weather, including minimal lighting


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous operations experience with The Walt Disney Company®
  • Demonstrated coaching/counseling skills
  • Experience working in Residence Life or as a Resident Assistant in a collegiate environment
  • Involvement working with a diverse student population
  • Proficiency with programs including DORMS, Business Objects, SAP, SC Logic, RapID and Kenexa

Required Education

  • Currently earning a college/university degree as a junior or senior (and up to 6 months after graduation)
  • Be a former or current Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship Participant

Additional Information

Internship Eligibility:

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Must provide full work availability
  • Must provide own transportation to/from work
  • Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)

Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are January 2017 through June 2017. Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship.
